Thanks to such amazing support from our community who voted and shared, CVHS has won the Red Sox Foundation Impact Award for Vermont! CVHS sends wholehearted thanks to all the Vermonters who voted to help them win the highest charitable donation of $10,000, and congratulates its fellow winners.
This funding will help CVHS save over 1,000 homeless animals in Vermont in the coming year. With a priority to serve local animals, CVHS goes the extra-mile to provide exceptional medical care and behavioral rehabilitation to the animals in its care. Staff and volunteers compassionately assist families during times of crisis and transition – and CVHS’s work and mission impact countless people whose lives are enriched by animals. This award will enable CVHS to go the extra mile for animals and we are so grateful. All of us here at CVHS give a standing ovation and mighty cheer to everyone who voted for us and to the Red Sox Foundation for this incredible gift and honor.
CVHS thanks the Red Sox Foundation for its generosity to the many New England non-profits that pinch hit for our communities in times of personal and financial challenges, and that enable our communities to thrive.
The Red Sox Foundation, founded in 2002, has given over $82 million to charitable activity, making it one of the largest team charities in all professional sports. In 2015, the foundation introduced a new initiative, The IMPACT Awards, which provided Red Sox fans in the surrounding New England states with the opportunity to support their favorite non-profits in their home states by casting their vote to help decide which three organizations will win one of the available awards.
