Cats
Kittens (under 7 months): $200
Adult Cats: (7 months – 8 years): $150
Mature Cats: (9+ years): By donation
Buddy Cats (adopting 2 at one time): $25 discount on total
Adoption fees include: spay/neuter, rabies vaccination (if over 12 weeks of age), 1st distemper vaccination, 1st deworming, parasite preventative, FeLV/FIV testing, microchip and registration, a sample bag of Hill’s Science Diet food, and a voucher for a free veterinary exam from the VVMA!
Dogs
Puppies: (under 7 months) $480 (Includes a five-week training course*,and the book “Puppy Socialization: What It Is and How to Do It” by Marge Rogers, CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA, CCUI and Eileen Anderson, MM, MS)
Adult Dogs: (7 months and older): $250 (Some dogs will be $350, which includes a five-week training course*)
Senior Dogs: $200 (Some dogs will be $300, which includes a five-week training course*)

*Training course included in adoption fees must begin with the next available cycle of classes. Adopters from outside the Central Vermont area may seek refunds of the additional cost ($100) after showing evidence that the dog has successfully completed a positive-reinforcement based training class elsewhere within six months of adoption.
Small Animals
Rabbits $50: now covers vaccination for Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (known as RHDV) in addition to spay/neuter and parasite prevention
Guinea pigs and Chinchillas: $50 includes parasite prevention
Ferrets: $50 includes rabies and distemper vaccinations, parasite prevention
Gerbils, Mice, Rats and Hamsters: $25 exam includes parasite prevention
