Apricot found his way to CVHS when his owner's living situation changed and they were unable to keep him. Apricot has a nose that loves to keep him busy, while that can mean his feet are not staying still (or home). A curious boy, he needs an owner dedicated to keeping him on leash and busy, or even having him in a fence in yard that is big dog proof, when he is not lounging on the couch. With his vocalizations being as big as his body, a house, not an apartment, would be best for him. This boy is very happy, loves to play and even enjoys an occasional car ride. Check out his smile in his profile photos!

Apricot is familiar with humans of all ages and will seek attention from anyone. In his prior home, he was exposed to other animals and other dogs. At the moment, he is healing from being neutered so has not had any dog playdates here at CVHS.

A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Apricot's $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about him, and to determine if you should meet Apricot.
