Guacamole
Guacamole came to CVHS when his owner had to move and was unable to keep him. At first, he can be shy but given time he starts to come out of his shell.
In his prior home, he was often a lap cat. He does not have experience living with children or canines, and due to his personality, would probably prefer a home without them. Guacamole does have experience living with other felines and did well with them, and while here he has been happily sharing a colony room with other cats.
He was familiar with an indoor/outdoor lifestyle but he has tested positive for FIV, which means he should now be indoor-only due to a compromised immune system. FIV is transmitted by deep bites, and Guacamole needed all his teeth extracted due to poor dental condition, plus he's a lover not a fighter, so there are no concerns with him transmitting FIV to other cats. If you think Guacamole might be a good match for your home, give us a call and our adoption counselor can talk with you about this special guy.
