Lola is a stunning husky with one ice blue eye & one brown eye, perfectly matching her mix of goofy husky antics mixed with gentle sweetness.

Like any self respecting husky, she initially thinks her surroundings are far more interesting than you are, until she decides it's time to come over for some scritches & love. She likes chasing toys, and loves a good squeaker. She has a grabby and chase/chase me play style with some gentle & quick wrestling, then takes beautiful breaks to sniff around on her own. She has a plush, wooly coat that will need regular brushing to keep her looking & feeling gorgeous.

Lola walks nicely on our trails with our front clip harness, and pulls a lot with a back-clip harness she arrived with, so a new owner will want to continue her leash training with a front-clip harness.

Lola came to us with her daughter Frost, when their owner was moving away and could not take the dogs. Frost is very strongly bonded to her mother, and becomes quite anxious when separated, so we are looking to adopt these two beauties into a loving home together. They would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard, or with an owner who fully understands that they need to be on leash at all times, to prevent the classic husky disappearing act!

A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Lola's and Frost's adoption fee, which is discounted for the pair, at $500.00. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about them, and to determine if you should meet Lola and Frost.
