Lenore
Lenore was found as a local stray, and no one has claimed her. This sweet pup is friendly, wiggly, energetic, and looking for a family to guide her in all the ways of becoming a well-behaved companion! She's working on learning basic manners, such as not jumping to greet, and walking nicely on leash.
She loves a good squeaky toy, and thrives on attention from the people around her. We do not know yet how she feels about kids, cats, and dogs, but will facilitate introductions soon. We expect she'll love kids, but may be too energetic and jumpy for young kids at this stage.
A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Lenore's $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about her, and to determine if you should meet Lenore.
