Walk for Animals 2025 – CVHS – Central Vermont Humane Society

Our biggest event of the year is this Saturday, rain or shine! We are excited that we have met our goal, and there is still time to raise vital funds and help us break a record for fundraising! Every dollar raised will give shelter pets a warm safe place to go, the extraordinary care they need, and a chance for a new loving home. YOU can make a difference for animals in Vermont! Due to State House lawn rules, no money can be exchanged on the lawn.

Join us on Saturday, June 7, 2025 on the State House Lawn for our free public event; rain or shine. Meteorologist Alex Wasilenko from Local 22 and Local 44 News (mychamplainvalley.com) will be there as our Emcee and he will be so much fun! We will have lots of activities, details are on our Walk website. Join us, and hundreds of Vermonters, to celebrate our love of animals and help save the lives of hundreds of shelter pets. Last year’s event was a blast — From our various vendors (event sponsors), pet trivia, reading time with the Kellogg Hubbard Library, our pet trick contest and costume contest, and family friendly crafts, everyone had a great time – humans and pets! With the help of 34 local businesses, plus peer-to-peer fundraisers and individual donors, we raised over $78,800 for animals at CVHS. Join our 2025 Walk and you can be a part of this special celebration!
